The upper wing skin extends back over the leading edge of the ailerons and flaps. To support the skin, there are 36 tiny ribs that support a trailing edge strip. These are contoured on the lower side to match the curve of the aileron/flap leading edge. Lots of bits to glue in place.
The aft and outboard quadrants of the wheel wells are curved to the shape of the tire. There are two options here. The "open-air" wheel well has curved framing most of the way around the tire to minimize the gap between the wheel and skin. I am using the "gear-door" option, which closes over the wheel when it is in the wing. The framing of this option is a little simpler. (Of course in the end it is much more complicated to add a wheel well door). The laminations for this framing do not come with the kit, so I have made them myself.
